Setup

Install once on your device, then point any MCP client at the launcher. Config matches standard mcpServers JSON.

Runs on your machine

Self-hosted MCP under ~/.umzobo/connect-plus (Windows: %USERPROFILE%\.umzobo\connect-plus). Your IDE starts it over stdio. Jobs hit UmZobo’s API with your key.

  1. Install once (Node.js 20+):
    Terminal (macOS)
    curl -fsSL https://ai.umzobo.studio/downloads/connect-plus/install.sh | bash
  2. Create an API key below and copy it.
  3. Add this to your MCP config (uses $HOME):
    mcpServers JSON
    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "umzobo-connect-plus": {
          "command": "bash",
          "args": ["-lc", "exec \"$HOME/.umzobo/connect-plus/run.sh\""],
          "env": {
            "UMZOBO_API_URL": "https://ai.umzobo.studio/api",
            "UMZOBO_CONNECT_API_KEY": "sk_conn_YOUR_KEY"
          }
        }
      }
    }
  4. Restart the MCP client, then run connect_whoami.
